2001 WHHA ORNAMENT

The 2001 White House Ornament honors President Andrew Jackson. This 24kt. gold finished carriage ornament unveils a nostalgic winter scene. An 1867 photograph of the south facade of the White House inspired this engraved style illustration. The ornament depicts President Johnson, his children and grandchildren, returning to the White House from an afternoon carriage ride, which was his favorite form of relaxation.
