Coots were first identified and observed as a subgroup of humans by artist Mike Dowdall and author Pat Welch in their book Humans (Simon and Schuster), which sold in excess of 200,000 copies and appeared on many best-seller lists.
Now, after twenty years of exhaustive research and painstaking observation, the author and artist have completed their work and submitted their findings to us for publication.
